There are a number of excellent websites to help get you started on the Ukulele. A few to look at are:
www.st.rim.or.jp/~kunisige (Basic Ukulele Lesson)
www.ukulele.nl (Ukulele Chordfinder)
www.beatlesite.info (Shows uke chords in real time, as Beatles songs play)
For information on buying and tuning a Ukulele, have a look at our FAQs page.
Free Chord Sheets to Download Below are three Ukulele chord sheets containing nearly every chord you should ever need, each on one side of A4. There is one for Soprano Ukulele in GCEA tuning (probably the easiest for a beginner), one for ADF#B tuning, and one for Baritone Ukulele DGBE tuning (like the top four strings of a guitar). Just click on the icon and save the PDF to your computer.

Workshops and Teaching The Ukulele Orchestra has in the past offered a range of workshops and master-classes covering various ukulele related topics. These took place at festivals, regional theatres and as part of local educational authority music provision. The Orchestra also ran its own workshops in Ensemble Playing, from Beginner to Intermediate levels. These were hugely successful in 2006 and 2007.
We're sorry to say that we will not be running any more workshops for the foreseeable future, due to our heavy touring schedule. But some friends of ours are. If you are interested in attending one of their workshops or are looking for one-to-one or group lessons then contact:
