Prom Night : Live at the Royal Albert Hall (DVD)

In 1985, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain dreamed of filling the Royal Albert Hall in London with the sound of ukuleles. On Tuesday 18th August 2009, at the BBC Proms, the Ukes attracted a sold-out audience; more than six thousand people, of which over a thousand brought their ukuleles.

This DVD is a complete record of the Ukulele Orchestra¹s Proms debut, with footage of the full concert. Extras include interviews and atmospheric scenes of impromptu music-making from ukulele-playing audience members, backstage footage of the Ukulele Orchestra prior to the concert, 5.1 Surround Sound and ukulele sheet music for the participation piece 'Ode to Joy'.

Specification:

This DVD is multi-region (Region 0) - there are no ‘area copyright’ coding issues.

It is also in PAL format (suitable for Europe and most of the world).

However if you live in North America you may experience difficulties watching it on your 'NTSC' DVD player. Please check your DVD manual to see if it plays 'PAL' DVDs. If not, never fear, it can be watched on any computer, PC or MAC, anywhere in the world, from the USA to Papua New Guinea.
